Frock Me this Sunday 1st November...

I'm just having the first day (and evening) to do some work in what seems like weeks - a friend from Switzerland has been staying with me so I have been sightseeing and hosting (not very well, always running out of food and drink!) Above is a free ticket to Frock Me this Sunday 1st November, do print it off. I have managed to find an incredible amount of new stock, sweet 1930s printed dresses, Victorian bustle coats, 1920s beaded flapper dresses and some brilliant 80s pieces too (including Moschino and Chanel) and lots of fabulous belts, handbags and jewellery....see you there! x
By the way, there is an auction coming up with Audrey Hepburn's entire wardrobe for sale, I'm going to go along and hope for a pair of gloves......xxx

I had a couple of G&Ts and then decided to check out Lanvin pendants on ebay last Friday, saw a beauty and put a large bid on it - only to then read the listing properly (ish) and see it was just the pendant, not the chain and holder, big lesson never to bid on ebay whilst tipsy. Luckily I got outbid. Hammersmith Vintage Fair was so busy last Sunday, now I have to hunt down almost a whole rail of good dresses for Frock Me on the 1st November....it was good to see some Bristol girls for once (Hi Heather xx) - Today I found 8 beautiful beaded 1920s bags and some incredible dresses, the one I like best is a gold lame John Charles ball gown with pleated flowers... (1970s)....more pieces going on the website asap! samaya xxx

Just made Ravinder Bhogal's Tabbouleh, it is delicious, even if I did over soak the cracked wheat... Ravinder wears crazy shoes whilst cooking amazing food - her cook book is the best I have ever had for inspiration, easy recipes and beautiful pictures (of her in shoes and the food!).
