Holiday
Aah, wanna go on holiday, tomorrow. My son has swine flu, poor little boy is burning up most of the time and just sleeping, the kitten (Indiana) has a tummy bug and yes I am in charge of that too, and my boyfriend just said (from his position on the sofa) that he has a sore throat and do I have anything to help it? Thinking of pretending to be ill and just getting in bed with my boy, this weather is making it hard to stay nice.....Where I would be tomorrow: (quite a good likeness I think, ha ha!)

Vintage Jewellery
Hammersmith Vintage Fair was crazy busy this month but I still managed to have a look around (wearing my new boots oh yes). Jewellery seemed to be the most sought after, amazing gifts for Christmas I think as they do not have to fit like a dress! I have put a couple of 1970s pieces on ebay (click here to see) for now, lots more coming up to as I have been keeping things back for the website for months.....big 1940s and 50s statement pieces and huge tribal art necklaces....more soon xxx

Cut!
The first thing that catches my eye when photographing on the streets is a person's hair. A great haircut is almost always accompanied by a great sense of style, and anyone that's been to Berlin can notice almost immediately that there are some truly unique (for better or for worse) hairstyles on the streets. And so, while we're forced to cover up in bulky winter coats during these winter months, I've decided to start a new side-feature on Stil in Berlin, which I'm calling 'Cut!' So here's the first.

Here is my (ideal) look for winter....so easy to recreate with vintage pieces, little tailored coat and flowing victorian or 1970s winter skirt...
Boots are the key to my winter wardrobe and I am visiting Russell and Bromley asap for some flat black knee (or just over) highs....just found these Stuart Weitzmans......

Sequin Harem Pants ?
I love how they look and especially when they are worn with the right boots and little coats, how I ever thought they would suit me? I saw (in Grazia) a pair of sequin harem pants (by Oli) that had the caption "kind to curves". I rushed out and got some (from Primark as Oli, Topshop et al have sold out? this is too trendy for me). They are 'kind' in an panto Aladdin's genie way. My man laughed hard at them and then tried them on himself and, yes, as he has long rather athletic legs they looked fantastic...aah, perhaps if I team them with very high heels I may get away with it.....xx there are a couple of sequin pieces on my website, a Chanel top and a halterneck 70s dress.....let me know what you think x samaya.
