I may have just gone a bit mad and bought lots of vintage skates, like these white ones but also in brown suede, black and white leather, blue suede and in all sizes....I am off skating on Saturday with my friend Amy round HER local park, not mine, to get back into practice - think Evian baby rollers advert (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQcVllWpwGs). Now I think I might hunt about the house for some knee pads and maybe my bike helmet...if I'm going to look silly anyway ..safe and silly....roller discos have been coming back (by dope demand) everywhere - and there is going to be one at Vintage Goodwood Festival (http://www.vintageatgoodwood.com/home.aspx).....here is an incredible image from Life Magazine....watch out Amy.
