Sex and the City 2 Handmade Beach Tunic and many more

Hi there,
I've just watched the movie "Sex and the City 2". I am so expired and excited. Carrie is wearing beach tunics just like the ones I handmade and list in my shop. While the four pretty girls are on the beach in Abu Dhabi Heaven, they are wearing a lot of lightweight tunics, ponchos and beautiful swimsuits cover up.

I could not find a picture of the girls on Abu Dhabi beach, but I came up to some interesting photos.

Here are some of my tunics:

Here is my tunic: Here is a full category of tunics http://www.etsy.com/shop/nevita?section_id=7033831 Thanks, Nev

Resurrecting Richard Chai

I've known Richard Chai for about 10 years, when he was still Richie, a sweet, young designer at Marc Jacobs. He started out at the company in 1998, when it was just him and one assistant. "One day Marc announced: I'm moving to Paris! which left me to hold down the fort in New York, practically on my own! We would fax sketches and comments back and forth, overnight." After working as the Design Director at Tse for two years, Richard finally broke out on his own in 2004 and has steadily found a comfortable, cool niche in the women's and men's wear world, leading up to a nomination for the 2010 CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear!
Richard hadn't been to the Resurrection archives since those Marc Jacobs days, when he used to have an ID badge to shop for research purposes. For his own collections he doesn't find much inspiration in vintage, but seeing the old collector's pieces at the store and in the basement brought back fond memories. He recognized Margiela pieces his friend and shoe designer Irene Chung would wear to the office. He discovered his favorite Comme des Garcons dress and a selection from Marc Jacobs' grunge collection. He got a kick out of the miniscule, khaki YSL safari top and skirt suit I modeled for him. Even the girls from the store and customers got involved and showed off their favorite dresses.

Faye Dunaway

Weekly Feature - PoppyLuxe Designs

Hello,
This week I have the pleasure to present you Kimberly with her etsy shop PoppyLuxe Designs

Take a loot at her short bio directly from Kimberly :
"Hi! My name is Kimberly and I love to decoupage! I have always been a creative person but until now never took the time to actually put my creativity to use. Sitting down and making a new picture frame or a jewelry box really makes me happy and even makes me feel peaceful.

Some of my pieces do take some time. It can take 2 days or a week for one piece to completely finished. I make sure that the finished coat is complete and that I am satisfied with an item before I list it, that way it is ready to ship when it sells.

I hope you find something you like and maybe something that will inspire you!"

Thank you for visiting and have a great week!
